5th grade punt rule has been changed to a dead ball play.
There will be no rush by the receiving team, no down field movement by the kicking team. The play will simply be a snap, a punt, and the ball will be spotted where it is first touched by the receiving team, out of bounds point, or where blown dead by the referee crew. A 15 second clock run off will take place at the notification of election to punt.
